UniFi WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 access points, USW Pro switches, UDM-Pro gateways, and UniFi Protect cameras — designed and commissioned for SMB offices, multi-tenant buildings, warehouses, and hospitality across the Southeast US.
Ubiquiti's UniFi platform is the deployment shape JB Technologies recommends most often to SMB and multi-tenant clients in the Southeast: enterprise-grade RF, switching, video, and door access on one self-hosted controller with no per-device licensing. We design with the same predictive RF and structured-cabling rigor we apply to Cisco or Aruba builds — every U6 Pro, U6 Enterprise, U7 Pro, or U7 Pro Max access point is placed against a Hamina or Ekahau predictive model, fed by a dedicated CAT6A run terminated on a USW Pro PoE switch, and validated with a post-install walk survey. Beyond Wi-Fi, we install UDM-Pro and UDM-SE gateways for unified routing, firewall, and controller hosting; USW Pro and USW Pro Max switches for the LAN; UniFi Protect with G5 cameras and the AI Pro NVR for surveillance; UniFi Access for door control under 32 doors per site; and UISP airMAX, LTU, and airFiber for outdoor PtP and PtMP backhaul. JBT is a UniFi-experienced installer because UniFi sits in the sweet spot for SMB offices, multi-tenant buildings, retail and restaurant chains, warehouses, hotels, and apartment complexes across Atlanta, Marietta, Alpharetta, and the broader Southeast.
U6 Pro for general offices, U6 Enterprise for high-density and 6 GHz, U6 Mesh for outdoor and patio, U6 In-Wall for hotel and apartment rooms. Selected by predictive RF model, not by floor plate.
Tri-band WiFi 7 with MLO and 6 GHz. U7 Pro XGS adds 10 GbE backhaul for high-density spaces. U7 Outdoor is rated IP55 for warehouses, yards, and exterior coverage.
All-in-one rack-mount gateway, firewall, VLAN router, Network controller, Protect NVR, and Talk PBX. UDM-SE adds PoE; UDM-Pro Max adds dual 10 GbE and faster Protect processing.
USW Pro 24/48 PoE for access closets, USW Pro Max for 2.5 GbE multi-gig client edge, USW Enterprise for 10 GbE distribution, USW Aggregation for spine and uplink consolidation.
2K and 4K cameras with AI detection (person, vehicle, license plate), running on the AI Pro NVR or directly on a UDM-Pro / UDM-SE. No per-camera VMS license fees.
Door access control under 32 doors per site with mobile credentials, NFC, and pin codes. Integrates with UniFi Identity for SSO and with Protect for camera-correlated entry events.
Outdoor wireless backhaul for building-to-building links, parking-lot cameras, remote warehouse buildings, and rural sites. airFiber 60 XR for short multi-Gbps links; LiteBeam AC and PowerBeam AC for longer ranges.
Dedicated controller hardware for sites that don't run a UDM-Pro, plus the Site Manager cloud overlay JBT uses to monitor every customer site from one pane without paying per-device.
UDM-Pro or UDM-SE gateway, one or two USW Pro PoE switches, and four-to-eight U6 Pro or U7 Pro APs. The deployment shape where UniFi's no-license math is most defensible.
per-tenant SSID, VLAN segregation on USW Pro Max, and centralized Site Manager visibility so building IT can support every floor from one controller.
U6 Mesh and U7 Outdoor for high-ceiling and rack-aisle coverage, USW Industrial for closet hardening, and UISP airFiber for office-to-warehouse backhaul.
standardized UniFi stack per location with cloud-overlay management; fast turn-up and centralized firmware control across every Atlanta-metro site.
U6 In-Wall for per-room coverage, captive-portal guest networks, and UniFi Talk PBX for front-desk phones — all on a single UDM-Pro.
UDM-Pro plus U6 Mesh or U7 Outdoor on tripods or pole mounts; LiteBeam AC PtP backhaul when the trailer office is too far from fiber.
every UniFi WiFi project starts with a Hamina or Ekahau predictive model and a walk-test validation after install, so AP count and placement are right the first time.
low-voltage technicians and network engineers on staff, not subcontracted, with trucks dispatched from our Atlanta shop and full structured-cabling capability in-house.
UDM-Pro / UDM-SE gateways, USW Pro switching, Protect cameras, Access doors, and UISP outdoor backhaul — designed together so the controller manages every layer.
JBT monitors every customer site from one cloud pane with no per-device fee, with proactive firmware, PoE-budget, and disconnect alerts before users call.
we walk the floor, capture wall types and ceiling height, drop the model into Hamina or Ekahau, and produce an AP count and placement plan with expected coverage and capacity numbers.
we size the UDM-Pro or UDM-SE, choose USW Pro vs Pro Max vs Enterprise by uplink and PoE budget, and select U6 or U7 APs by client mix and density target.
every UDM, switch, and AP is firmware-updated, adopted, and configured in our Atlanta shop with the customer's SSID, VLAN, and security policy before it ships.
structured-cabling termination, physical install, post-install walk survey to confirm signal, data rate, roaming, and channel plan, then a turnover packet with site-specific docs.
Cost-of-ownership. Meraki and Aruba Central charge per-device, per-year licensing that can match or exceed the hardware over a five-year window. UniFi's controller is self-hosted on a UDM-Pro, UDM-SE, or Cloud Key Gen2 Plus with no recurring fees, which makes the math work for SMB offices, multi-tenant buildings, retail and restaurant chains, and warehouses where the customer wants enterprise-grade RF without the SaaS bill. We still spec Meraki or Aruba when a customer's IT team already owns the dashboard, but UniFi is JBT's default for greenfield SMB.
WiFi 6 deployments: U6 Pro for general office, U6 Enterprise for high-density and 6 GHz, U6 Mesh for outdoor and patio, and U6 In-Wall for hotel and apartment rooms. WiFi 7 deployments (2025 forward): U7 Pro, U7 Pro Max, U7 Pro XGS for 10 GbE backhaul, and U7 Outdoor for warehouse yards and exterior coverage. We size by predictive RF model, not by floor-plan square footage, so the AP count matches actual capacity targets.
Yes, and it's the deployment shape we recommend most. UDM-Pro (or UDM-SE for PoE) handles the gateway, firewall, VLAN routing, UniFi Network controller, UniFi Protect NVR, and UniFi Talk PBX in one rack-mount. For 50 users plus IoT and cameras we typically pair it with one or two USW Pro 24 PoE switches and four-to-eight U6 Pro APs. Once you cross 100 users or three closets, we move to UDM-SE with a dedicated USW Aggregation switch and USW Pro Max 48 PoE switches stacked per-closet.
Both, when the customer is already standardized on UniFi. UniFi Protect with G5 Bullet, G5 Dome, and AI Pro cameras plays cleanly with the Network controller and avoids a separate VMS license. UniFi Access with the UA-G2, UA-Hub, UA-Lite, and UA-Ultra readers is a strong fit for small-to-mid office door counts under 32 doors per site. For larger enterprises or facilities that need full intrusion integration we still pair Hanwha, Verkada, or Brivo on the security side — the platform decision is made in design, not in the field.
Yes. For warehouses we run U6 Mesh, U7 Outdoor, or the UniFi Mesh BaseStation XG on ceiling mounts and column brackets, with predictive RF that accounts for rack absorption and forklift movement. For outdoor yards, exterior cameras, or building-to-building backhaul we add UISP airMAX, LTU, or airFiber for point-to-point links. UniFi's outdoor range is genuinely competitive with Aruba Outdoor and Cisco IW, at a much lower price point.
Yes. UniFi's Site Manager (the cloud overlay on top of self-hosted controllers) lets us add JBT as a managed partner across every site you own with no per-device fee. We monitor for AP disconnects, PoE budget pressure, firmware-out-of-date alerts, controller backup status, and rogue-AP detection from our Atlanta shop and dispatch a tech the same day when needed.
Tell us about your facility and we will scope the right UniFi design, RF model, and stack sizing.
