Q-SYS (QSC) Integrator in Atlanta, GA

Q-SYS Designer programming, Core processor deployment, and end-to-end networked AV across Atlanta corporate, education, hospitality, and performance venues.

Q-SYS Networked AV for Atlanta Commercial Spaces

Q-SYS by QSC is a software-based audio, video, and control platform that runs on a real-time Linux operating system and moves all signals over standard IT networks instead of point-to-point analog or proprietary buses. At the heart of every system is a Q-SYS Core processor that handles DSP, AEC, routing, and control logic, while peripherals like the NV-32-H Network Video endpoint, NL Series network amplifiers, NC Series PTZ cameras, and NIO/PIO/IO bridges extend audio, video, and GPIO across the LAN. JB Technologies is an Atlanta-based Q-SYS integrator that designs, programs in Q-SYS Designer, commissions, and supports Q-SYS deployments throughout Georgia. We build native Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms experiences on Q-SYS, deploy multi-zone audio across hospitality and corporate campuses, integrate Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager for proactive monitoring, and tune AEC, GPS-locked PTP networks, and QoS-aware switches for reliable performance from day one.

Q-SYS native NC-110, NC-12x80, and NC-20x60 cameras with auto framing, native control via Q-SYS Designer, and PoE+ deployment for Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and lecture capture.

NS Series Network Switches

QSC-tuned PoE+ switches preconfigured with QoS, IGMP snooping, multicast, and PTP to support Q-SYS audio, video, and control traffic on a converged AV-over-IP backbone.

NIO, PIO, and IO Network Peripherals (NIO-H4, PIO-H4, IO-USB Bridge, QIO-USB)

Networked I/O nodes that extend mic/line audio, GPIO control, and USB bridging from soft-codec PCs to remote rooms over standard Ethernet.

Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager

Cloud-based monitoring, alerting, and remote management platform that gives Atlanta IT and facilities teams real-time visibility into every Core, peripheral, and room across the enterprise.

Why Atlanta Buyers Choose JB Technologies for Q-SYS

Q-SYS Designer Certified Programming

Our team writes and version-controls Q-SYS Designer files in-house — DSP, control scripts, UCI touch panels, and Lua plugins — so you never wait on an out-of-state programmer for a room change.

Atlanta Field Engineering

Local commissioning, AEC tuning, and PTP/QoS network validation by Atlanta-based engineers who can be on-site at your Buckhead, Midtown, or Perimeter facility same-week.

IT-Grade Network Discipline

We co-design the Q-SYS LAN with your IT team — VLAN segmentation, IGMP, PTP boundary clocks, and QoS markings — so AV traffic coexists cleanly on the corporate backbone.

Reflect-Enabled Lifecycle Support

Every Q-SYS deployment ships with Reflect Enterprise Manager configured for proactive alerting, firmware management, and remote diagnostics under a JBT service agreement.

Our Q-SYS Engagement Process

  1. 1

    Discovery & Room Program

We walk every space, capture room counts, codec preferences (Teams, Zoom, Webex), audio coverage goals, and integrate with the AV-over-IP and control standards your IT and facilities teams already run.

  2. 2

    Q-SYS Design & Engineering

We size Cores, NV endpoints, NL amplifiers, and NIO peripherals, draft Q-SYS Designer schematics, produce signal flow and network diagrams, and coordinate VLANs, PTP, and QoS with IT.

  3. 3

    Programming, Build & Commissioning

Racks are pre-built and burned-in at our Atlanta shop, then deployed on-site with full DSP tuning, AEC calibration, UCI testing, and acceptance against a documented checklist.

  4. 4

    Reflect Onboarding & Service

We enroll every Core in Reflect Enterprise Manager, hand over as-builts and Designer files, and provide ongoing monitoring, firmware, and on-call support across your portfolio.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Q-SYS different from a traditional fixed-architecture DSP?

Traditional DSPs use proprietary cards and fixed I/O; Q-SYS runs on a software-based, real-time Linux OS where audio, video, and control all flow over standard Ethernet. That means you can scale by adding network peripherals (NIO, NV-32-H, NL amplifiers) without swapping the Core, and you get built-in AV-over-IP, native UCI touch panels, and Lua scripting in one platform.

What is Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager and do we need it?

Reflect is QSC's cloud monitoring platform. It gives you real-time health, room utilization, peripheral status, and alerting across every Q-SYS Core in your portfolio. For multi-room corporate, university, or hospitality deployments we strongly recommend it — it cuts mean-time-to-resolution and lets JBT diagnose issues remotely before users open a ticket.

Do you have Q-SYS Designer programmers on staff or do you sub it out?

We program Q-SYS Designer in-house. Our engineers hold QSC Level 1 and Level 2 certifications and we maintain a versioned library of UCI templates, Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, divisible-room logic, and Lua control plugins. Source files are handed over to you at project close — no vendor lock-in.

What does Q-SYS need from our network — PTP, QoS, multicast?

A proper Q-SYS LAN needs PTPv2 (IEEE 1588) for clock sync, DSCP-based QoS to prioritize audio/video over data, IGMP snooping with a querier for multicast video, and ideally dedicated VLANs. We co-design and validate this with your IT team, and the QSC NS Series switches ship preconfigured if you prefer a turnkey AV-VLAN.

Can Q-SYS run native Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms?

Yes. Q-SYS is a Microsoft Teams Rooms certified platform and a Zoom Rooms certified appliance partner. We deploy Core 8 Flex / Core Nano with NC Series PTZ cameras and NV-32-H endpoints to deliver native MTR and Zoom Rooms experiences with single-cable connectivity, AEC, and consistent UCI control across every room.

How do you handle redundancy and multi-site deployments?

For mission-critical rooms (council chambers, broadcast, large performance venues) we deploy redundant Cores with automatic failover, redundant network paths, and dual power. For multi-site corporate or campus rollouts, we standardize Designer templates, manage all Cores through Reflect, and stage equipment at our Atlanta shop so each site gets an identical, pre-validated rack.
