Atlona OmniStream AV-over-IP, HDBaseT extension, UHD matrix switching, and Velocity control systems engineered and installed for Atlanta corporate, education, and government clients.
JB Technologies designs and installs Atlona signal management systems for Atlanta organizations that need reliable, IP-native video distribution across conference rooms, classrooms, training centers, and command spaces. As a Panduit company, Atlona pairs broadcast-quality AV-over-IP with structured cabling discipline, which is exactly how we approach every deployment. Our engineers specify Atlona OmniStream encoders and decoders for scalable AV-over-IP backbones, AT-OME HDBaseT extenders for single-room signal runs, AT-UHD matrix switchers for fixed routing, and the Velocity control system for unified room automation. We program touch panels, configure VLANs and multicast on managed switches, and integrate Atlona endpoints with Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Zoom Rooms ecosystems already deployed across metro Atlanta enterprises. From Buckhead law firms to Midtown corporate towers, Cobb County school districts, and Fulton County government facilities, our certified technicians deliver clean rack builds, documented network configurations, and training that lets your team operate the room on day one.

where AT-OME-PS62 all-in-one switchers consolidate HDMI, USB-C, and wireless presentation into a single tabletop connection.
and Gwinnett K-12 classrooms using OmniStream AV-over-IP to distribute lecture capture, document cameras, and digital signage campus-wide.
AT-UHD matrix switchers route dozens of sources to video walls with sub-frame latency for Atlanta utilities and public safety agencies.
labs at Emory, Piedmont, and Northside facilities requiring HIPAA-aware network segmentation and reliable HDBaseT extension.
where OmniStream encoders feed IMAG video walls, lobby signage, and overflow rooms over a single managed AV network.
Our engineers hold Atlona certifications and program Velocity control, OmniStream network configurations, and matrix routing in-house rather than subcontracting.
We coordinate with your IT team on VLANs, IGMP snooping, multicast, and PoE budgets so Atlona AV-over-IP runs cleanly on enterprise-grade Cisco, Aruba, and Extreme switches.
Local technicians dispatch from our Atlanta office for warranty swaps, firmware updates, and adds-moves-changes, with Atlona advance replacement coordinated end-to-end.
We bridge Atlona endpoints to Q-SYS DSPs, Crestron and Extron control, Shure and Biamp audio, and Microsoft Teams or Zoom Rooms platforms already in your facilities.
We walk every room, document existing displays, cabling, network closets, and control surfaces, then produce Atlona-specific signal flow drawings and bill of materials.
We pre-configure OmniStream encoders, Velocity gateways, and matrix switchers, build racks at our Atlanta shop, and submit IP plans and VLAN requirements to your IT team for approval.
Our certified installers terminate Cat6a, mount displays and wall plates, install rack gear, and program Velocity touch panels, room scheduling, and one-touch meeting joins.
We verify EDID, audio gain structure, PoE budgets, and multicast performance, train end users and AV staff, and deliver as-built drawings and a service warranty package.
HDBaseT is the right answer for fixed point-to-point or small matrix routing within a single room or floor. OmniStream AV-over-IP is the better choice when you need to scale beyond 16x16, route signals across buildings, or add endpoints over time without replacing a chassis. We typically recommend OmniStream for any campus, command center, or multi-room corporate deployment.
OmniStream uses adaptive JPEG2000 and SMPTE ST 2110 encoding, so most 4K streams fit comfortably in 600 Mbps to 850 Mbps per endpoint on a 1Gb network. We size your AV VLAN, configure IGMP snooping and PIM multicast routing, and verify QoS so OmniStream coexists cleanly with corporate data and voice traffic.
Velocity is Atlonas native IP control system, configured through a web browser rather than custom code. It is faster to deploy and more cost-effective for standardized rooms, includes built-in scheduling and occupancy, and integrates Teams, Zoom, and Webex one-touch joins out of the box. For complex bespoke environments we still deploy Crestron or Extron, and we can mix Velocity rooms alongside them on the same network.
Yes. OmniStream and AT-UHD matrix switchers expose TCP, RS-232, and IP control APIs that we program into Q-SYS Designer, Crestron SIMPL or Home, and Extron Global Configurator. We routinely retrofit Atlona endpoints into existing Atlanta enterprise environments without replacing the control processor.
You need managed Layer 3 switches with IGMP snooping, IGMP querier, and PIM multicast routing enabled, plus sufficient PoE budget for endpoints. We typically deploy on Cisco Catalyst 9300, Aruba CX 6300, or Extreme X465 switches and provide a written network requirements document your IT team can validate before installation.
Yes. Current Atlona OmniStream, AT-OME, AT-UHD, and AT-HDR-EX product lines support HDMI 2.0a, HDCP 2.3, 4K/60 4:4:4, HDR10, and Dolby Vision pass-through. We confirm EDID and HDR handshaking on every display during commissioning so your content presents correctly across mixed Samsung, LG, Sony, and Planar endpoints.
