Customer Experience Center

A Fortune 500 manufacturer asked JB Technologies to engineer the technology backbone for a new customer experience center — a space designed for executive briefings, live product demonstrations, and immersive client tours. The build required AV, IT, and security systems to operate as a single, fault-tolerant platform with no visible technology footprint.

The Challenge

The architectural design called for clean ceilings, recessed equipment, and zero exposed cabling — every display, microphone, camera, and access reader had to be invisible until activated. The space also needed to support five simultaneous demo zones with isolated audio, synchronized video, and reservation-driven access control, all controllable from a single touch panel.

What We Built

JB Technologies delivered a fully integrated AV-over-IP backbone with redundant network paths, 4K laser projection in the main theater, distributed audio with beamforming microphones, and a Crestron control system tying every subsystem together. Structured cabling ran on a Cat6A horizontal plant feeding two zone IDFs, with single-mode fiber backbone to the building MDF. Access control integrated with the company's existing identity provider so badge holders could reserve a demo room and enter automatically at their scheduled time.

Outcomes

The space went live on schedule with zero punch-list items at customer turnover. Day-one demos ran with no technician on standby — the integrated control system runs unattended, and the JB monitoring stack catches device-level issues before they become user-facing problems.
