Authorized Verkada camera installer for Georgia commercial sites
JB Technologies is an authorized Verkada camera installer serving commercial customers across Atlanta and the broader Georgia market. Our team designs, installs and commissions every Verkada camera line: Bullet, Dome, Mini, Fisheye, Multi-Sensor and License Plate Reader. We handle the project end to end, from initial site walk and lens-and-mount selection through structured cabling, head-end work, Verkada Command setup, camera-of-interest naming and admin handoff to the customer's IT and security leads. Most of our customers are facility managers, IT directors or security leads at multi-site organizations who need a clear single pane of glass instead of a stack of disconnected DVRs.
The Verkada camera lineup and where each line fits
Bullet cameras
The Bullet line is purpose-built for exterior perimeter coverage, parking-deck levels, loading docks and long-throw views down corridors or fence lines. Bullet form factor and IP-rated housing make it the default exterior choice on most JB Technologies designs. We standardize on Verkada Bullet cameras for outdoor parking, gate-side coverage and rooftop perimeter views.
Dome cameras
Dome cameras are the workhorse for interior office, retail and lobby coverage. The vandal-resistant housing also makes them viable for low-mount parking-deck levels and back-of-house corridors in retail and hospitality. Most JB Technologies retail and hospitality projects place Dome cameras at every register, BOH door and stock-room entry.
Mini cameras
Mini cameras suit small interior spaces: small retail boutiques, restaurant dining rooms, professional office suites, cash counters and reception areas. Their small footprint matters when ownership cares about aesthetics, and they pull the same Verkada Command experience as the rest of the line.
Fisheye cameras
Fisheye cameras give a 360-degree view of an open floor plan: warehouse mezzanines, conference centers, hotel lobbies, atriums and open-plan offices. We use them when one camera can replace four conventional Bullets or Domes and still deliver investigation-grade footage through Command's dewarping.
Multi-Sensor cameras
Multi-Sensor cameras place multiple sensors on one mount, ideal for parking decks, big intersections, large warehouse aisles, school hallways and any area where one head can replace a multi-camera array. The reduced cable count and single Command device entry make them efficient on large jobs.
License Plate Reader (LPR) cameras
Verkada LPR cameras live at gates, parking-deck entries and exits, loading-dock approaches and visitor lanes. They give logistics operators, school campuses, multifamily property managers and corporate campuses a plate-aware audit trail that integrates with Verkada Alerts and Access.
Common Verkada camera deployment patterns
Most Georgia camera deployments follow a repeatable design pattern that JB Technologies has refined across hundreds of installations. For multi-tenant offices, we typically place Bullet cameras at every exterior door and parking-deck level, Dome cameras inside elevator lobbies and shared corridors, and Multi-Sensor units at parking-deck ramps. For retail and hospitality, the pattern is Dome cameras at every register, Mini cameras at storefronts and Bullet cameras at the rear loading area. For schools, the pattern is Multi-Sensor cameras in long hallways, Bullet cameras at every exterior entry and Fisheye cameras over commons areas. For distribution centers, the pattern is Bullet cameras at dock doors, LPR cameras at truck gates and Multi-Sensor units down warehouse aisles. We work from these patterns as starting points, then adjust to the specific building and customer requirements during the design walk.
What JB Technologies delivers on every camera project
Every Verkada camera install from JB Technologies includes a documented design package (camera schedule, mount detail, cable schedule), a structured cabling plant terminated and tested to TIA standards, head-end power and PoE switching where applicable, full Verkada Command commissioning, camera-of-interest naming and zone grouping, role-based admin handoff to the customer's IT and security leads, and a close-out package with as-builts and warranty registration. We do not leave gaps for the customer to chase down later. The same project manager who scopes the work also runs the install and the handoff walkthrough, which is how we keep the close-out tight.
Verkada Command is what makes the camera deployment work
Verkada cameras run on Verkada Command, the cloud platform that ties cameras, access control, alarms, intercoms and sensors into a single login for the customer. Every JB Technologies camera install ends with Command set up correctly: cameras grouped by site and zone, role-based admin assigned to the customer's actual security and IT staff, scheduled archives configured against retention policy, and camera-of-interest naming applied so investigation searches actually return useful results. We hand the system over with a documented as-built and a 30-minute Command walkthrough so the customer can run the platform without leaning on the integrator for routine work.
Where JB Technologies installs Verkada cameras in Georgia
We install Verkada cameras across the Atlanta metro and throughout Georgia. Our project teams work daily in Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Marietta, Smyrna, Dunwoody and Decatur, with regular travel to Augusta and Savannah for multi-site customers. We pull the City and County low-voltage permits, coordinate AHJ inspections where required, and deliver a final close-out package with as-builts, Command admin handoff and warranty documentation.
