Authorized Verkada access control installer for Georgia
JB Technologies designs, installs and commissions Verkada access control across commercial buildings in Georgia. Our scope of work covers the AC11 single-door controller, the AC41 four-door controller, the AC42 wireless-lock controller, door hardware integration, reader selection, mobile credential rollout through Verkada Pass and full Verkada Command commissioning. We are an authorized Verkada integrator and we operate as the customer's single point of accountability from design through warranty support. Most of our access control customers are property managers, corporate IT or operations leads at multi-site organizations who want one cloud platform instead of a per-site headend.
Verkada access control hardware and where each panel fits
AC11 single-door controller
The AC11 controls a single door and is the right choice for tenant suites, server rooms, lab and clean rooms, pharmacy doors, liquor rooms, IT closets and retail back-of-house entries. We use AC11 panels when the door count at a location is low and the install needs to be clean and code-compliant without overprovisioning the head-end.
AC41 four-door controller
The AC41 controls four doors from one panel and is the workhorse for office buildings, mid-rise floors, distribution-center office areas and school administrative wings. On large jobs we plan AC41 panels at logical zone boundaries so the customer can extend door count over time without re-pulling head-end cabling.
AC42 wireless lock controller
The AC42 supports wireless locks for doors that are expensive or impractical to wire conventionally. It opens up retrofit projects where existing buildings have door openings without door cores, where running conduit would damage architectural finishes, or where tenant fit-outs need door additions on a short schedule.
Readers, credentials and Verkada Pass
JB Technologies installs Verkada-listed readers at every controlled opening and supports physical card credentials, mobile credentials and Verkada Pass for app-based unlock. Mobile credentials are the right default for new construction and most retrofits because they cut the ongoing administrative cost of card issuance and revocation, especially in environments with high staff turnover.
Common Verkada access control deployment patterns
JB Technologies designs Verkada access control around the building's actual use, not a generic template. For multi-tenant office buildings, the typical pattern places AC41 panels in each floor's IDF closet, readers on every tenant suite door and stairwell-to-tenant-floor doors, and Verkada Pass mobile credentials issued through the property management workflow. For schools, the pattern is AC41 panels in admin and IDF rooms, readers on every exterior door, the main office entry and selected interior doors, with scheduled unlock and emergency lockdown configured in Command. For distribution centers, AC11 or AC41 panels live in the office area with readers at the office-to-warehouse door, the visitor entry and the secure server room. For retail and hospitality, AC11 panels cover BOH and stockroom doors with mobile credentials for staff.
Compliance, life-safety and emergency egress
Access control intersects life-safety code at every controlled opening. JB Technologies designs and installs Verkada access control to satisfy NFPA 101 free egress requirements, the Georgia State Minimum Standard Codes for buildings and the AHJ's local interpretation. Request-to-exit devices, door position switches and fail-safe versus fail-secure lock selection are decided up front and documented in the close-out. Doors that need to release on fire alarm are tied to the fire alarm contractor's relay so the integration is built once and inspected once. This is the kind of detail that matters when the AHJ walks the building and where shortcuts cost real money.
Door hardware integration
Access control only works when the door hardware behind it is right. Our project teams specify and install electric strikes, electromagnetic locks, request-to-exit devices, door position switches and door operators that match the door type, fire-rating, ADA requirements and AHJ expectations for the building. We also coordinate with the fire alarm contractor when an opening needs to release on alarm, and we document the integration in the close-out package so future inspections go smoothly.
Verkada Command and admin handoff
The Verkada access control deployment ends in Verkada Command. JB Technologies sets up the customer's organization, sites, zones, schedules, role-based admin, credential profiles and Pass enrollment workflow before handoff. We also run a 30-minute Command walkthrough so the customer's security or IT lead can issue credentials, manage schedules and lock or unlock doors from a phone without depending on the integrator for routine work.
